DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED: A 63-year-old Carbonado man was stopped on Pershing Road in connection to a domestic violence assault, on June 27, 3:52 p.m. He was found to be driving on a suspended license in the third degree.

CAR ACCIDENT: At 1:53 p.m. June 28, an officer responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch on state Route 410. The driver had a medical issue that required transport to the hospital. The vehicle had no damage and was taken by Fred’s Towing at the driver’s request.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: At 10:07 p.m. June 29, officers were dispatched to North 3rd Street to check on a possible argument between a male and female. On arrival, the officers made contact with both subjects, whom were “very intoxicated.” Both said they were not arguing, just being loud as they spoke.

DUI: Shortly after midnight June 30, a 37-year-old man was stopped for speeding. He performed some voluntary sobriety tests, which he failed, and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence.

MENTAL HEALTH: At 9:17 p.m. July 1, officers were dispatched to a Main Street residence for what was believed to be a domestic assault call. On arrival, that turned out not to be the case. A 12-year-old boy was threatening to hurt himself, an intent he stated and demonstrated by placing a knife against his own neck. The boy had a history of prior police contacts, and was presently off of medication prescribed for his mental health. He was transported to Mary Bridge Hospital for a mental health commitment.

POSSESSION: Shortly after midnight on July 4, an officer stopped a vehicle on the 410 Highway for improper lane usage. During the traffic stop, the officer smelled an odor of cannabis. The officer asked the driver where he was storing his marijuana, and the man handed over a tin box with two baggies and a roller inside. The man was placed under arrest for possession of the drugs and paraphernalia. He was also arrested for DUI after performing some voluntary tests.
