WARRANT/PARAPHERNALIA: On July 7 at approximately 2:30 a.m. a citizen called to report that he believes that a local business near his home was just broken into. The officers contacted the reporting party who advised that he was looking out his window and saw a subject enter the business through a gate which is usually locked with a big lock and chain. Officers contacted a representative from the victim business but they chose not to respond. While officers were contacting the witness they saw two people walk by and went to see where they came from. The officer contacted them and ran a status check on the two subjects. One came back clear and one had a warrant for Disorderly Conduct. The clear subject was allowed to leave and the  other subject was placed under arrest. A glass smoking device which contained marijuana was located in plain view sticking out of the arrestee’s pocket. The arrestee was booked into Puyallup Jail.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: On July 7 at 2:15 p.m. officers responded to the 5700 block of Graham Ave for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. When the officers arrived they noticed two end tables that were broken. They contacted the suspect who was standing on the porch and was visibly upset and irritated by their presence. He told the officers he did not call the police and that he did not want them there. He then yelled, just take me to jail, and arrest me now, you are going to anyway. Since the suspect was yelling and agitated the officers told him to stop to take a seat on the sofa next to where he was standing. The suspect refused and yelled “I will not sit down, I don’t want to sit down, don’t tell me to sit down”! The suspect then took a bladed stance and balled up his fist at the officer. The suspect  was advised that he was now under arrest for disorderly conduct. The suspect then became combative toward the officer but was eventually placed unto handcuffs. The suspect was issued a citation for Malicious Mischief for breaking property around the house prior to officers arrival.

THREAT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On July 7 at approximately 7:54 p.m. officers were dispatched to a physical domestic in progress possibly involving a gun or threats of a gun. As officers arrived the contacted the victim who stated that his dad had been drinking and was upset with him. He also stated that his father said he was going to blow his head off and that there were weapons in the home. The victim advised that he feared for his life as his father has been drinking a lot lately and has become more volatile and angry. The father admitted that he did tell his son that he would blow his head off, but that he did not truly mean it. The firearms were removed from the home and were booked into the property room at the Sumner Police Department. The father was booked into jail on charges of Domestic Violence Threats and Harassment.
