Just a reminder about our upcoming Prairie Ridge Community Coalition Meeting coming up 10 a.m. Monday, March 9, at the Prairie Ridge Community Service Center located at 14104 Prairie Ridge Drive, Bonney Lake.

Our guest speaker this month will be Sue Z. Hart, the founder of Building Beyond the Walls.  Sue recently relocated to the Bonney Lake area and has a construction training program that teaches participants (ages 16+) the basics of construction through a series of hands on training classes where they complete a small building.  These skills allow volunteers to be more confident and valuable on a job site and better homeowners.  The small buildings that are built in the program then benefit local non-profits and organizations.  Sue will share how this program will be benefiting Prairie Ridge this Spring and how local residents can receive the free training and give back to their community.

The meeting agenda is attached and includes an update of coalition projects and partner activities in Prairie Ridge.  There will be time in the agenda for organizations to share upcoming events.  Please bring fliers to share if you have them.

Note the list of upcoming Prairie Ridge and Community events listed below.

Light refreshments will be served.  Hope you will be able to join us!
