Discussion Topics: Marcy Boulet, TPCHD, will share the results of the coalition survey that we participated in last month. We will talk about what we are doing well and identify areas for improvement.

- Sumner/Bonney Lake Community Summit will be held on Thurs., March 15th at Calvary Community Church. Theme is “The Heart of the Matter” w/pre-summit session from 3:00 – 4:45 on Health as a Priority. Breakout groups from 5:00 – 6:00, free dinner at 6pm, Unsung Hero Awards, and Keynote speaker John Norlin, SHS leadership class advisor. Free childcare available with pre-registration. - Job & Resource Fair will be on Monday, April 2nd from 6:00 – 7:30pm at Daffodil Valley Elementary School hosted by the Sumner/Bonney Lake Family Center and the Sumner Lions Club. Meet local businesses and learn about resources that are available in our community. More info: 253-891-6535.
- Free tax help at Buckley Sr. Center Wednesdays 9am-2pm on 3/14, 3/28 & 4/11. Free personal income tax preparation and assistance to low-and-middle income tax payers, with special attention to those age 60 and over.
- Free tax help at Sumner Library on Saturdays 10am-3pm walk-in only and on Sundays noon – 4pm by appointment 253-720-8033. For those earning less than $50,000.
- 3/9/12 – 3/11/12 – “Annie” the Musical by BLHS at the Sumner Performing Arts Center. 20% of proceeds benefit the Sumner/Bonney Lake Family Center. More info at www.sumner.wednet.edu.
- Free yard work and gutter cleaning for elderly and disabled residents in Prairie Ridge the weekend of April 28th & 29th. Members of Calvary Community Church will be in the Prairie Ridge Community providing this service. Please call 253-897-8378 to sign-up.
