Each year the Buckley Log Show honors a retired logger who helped carry on the logging heritage in the area by naming him Bull of the Woods. The log show began this tradition in 1978, and including this year has 33 Bulls of the Woods. They have been nominated and approved by the log show committee. The Bulls of the Woods to date are:
