Enumclaw Police Blotter for August 3-August 15

Aug. 3

• At about 8:37 a.m., a dog was running loose on Myrtine St. Officers retrieved the dog and brought it back to its owner

• At about 3:12 p.m., a driver was stopped and arrested for driving while their license was suspended. Their vehicle was moved off the road by the passenger.

• At about 6:18 p.m., a car prowl was reported on Florence St. No suspects were found.

Aug. 4

• At about 1:04 a.m., someone called the police, saying they saw a firework go off. The call cleared without a response.

• At about 1:55 a.m., there was a report of a loud boom which might have been a firework. Officers were unable to locate the source.

• At about 12:46 p.m., there was an attempted shoplift. Officers booked and released the suspect.

• At about 7:17 p.m., officers attempted to do a traffic stop on a dirtbike. The subject fled the scene. The officer did not pursue.

• At about 10:35 p.m., there was a report of fireworks. No suspects.

Aug. 5

• At about 1:05 a.m., there was a report of fireworks discharging. No suspects were found.

• At about 3:44 a.m., there was a report of fireworks discharging. No suspects were found.

• At about 9:51 a.m., there was a report of the theft of two items. No suspects were found.

• At about 7:41 p.m., someone reported that something was stolen from his store, but he did not want to press charges.

• At about 10:00 p.m., there was a complaint of excessive noise coming from the Veterans of Foreign Wars hall. Officers told them to turn down their music.

• At about 11:13 p.m., there was a report of fireworks discharging. No suspects were found.

Aug. 6

• At about 12:18 a.m., someone reported that there was an unknown subject in their vehicle. The unknown subject was gone upon arrival. The car was damaged.

• At about 9:37 a.m., there was a request for more vehicle patrols due to increased car prowls in the area.

• At about 7:10 p.m., EPD assisted Washington State Patrol in locating the subject who fled from WSP. The subject was not found.

• At about 10:36 p.m., an officer was contacted by a passerby to notify the officer that she had just been assaulted. Officer performed an area check for suspect, but no one was found. The woman declined to be a victim.

Aug. 8

• At about 9:41 p.m., there was a report of a public disturbance. Upon contact, officers determined subjects were having a pillow fight.

Aug. 9

• At about 2:41 a.m., an employee from the Ski Inn turned in a counterfeit bill.

• At about 11:17 a.m., a food truck reported that their electric cables were stolen.

• At about 4:35 p.m., a trailer disconnected from a vehicle and hit a pole.

• At about 6:11 p.m., a restaurant reported that there were unwanted customers who they described as rude and unhappy with food. They were gone when officers arrived.

Aug. 10

• At about 5:52 a.m., an individual was pulled over and found to be driving while their license was suspended. The subject was arrested, booked, and released.

• At about 11:12 p.m., someone reported that they could hear street racing on their street. Officers responded, and no one was found racing.

Aug. 11

• At about 5:45 a.m., there was a vehicle theft. The vehicle was found near Fife with the rear plate missing.

Aug. 12

• At about 12:34 p.m., there was a report of a vehicular assault. Officer responded, took report, and will follow up.

• At about 9:15 p.m., a male said his ex-wife assaulted him. Officers responded, and she was arrested on assault charges.

Aug. 13

• At about 12:35 a.m., someone called in, saying her grandson had assaulted her. Officers responded and arrested the grandson on assault charges.

• At about 5:52 a.m., someone reported that their motorcycle was stolen. Officers later located the motorcycle in Tacoma with damage to the ignition.

Aug. 14

• At about 10:49 a.m., there was a report of a stolen vehicle. Report taken.

Aug. 15

• At about 11:37 a.m., there was an online report of a vehicle prowl.

• At about 9:08 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in an individual was arrested for driving without a license.

• At about 10:11 p.m., there was a report of a vehicle vs pedestrian incident. The victim was taken to the hospital.
