If you plan to use SR 167 near Renton this Saturday and Sunday prepare for delays. Contractor crews will close lanes in both directions of SR 167 between Southwest 43rd Street and I-405 to trim overgrown trees.

Here’s what’s happening:

• Saturday, April 26 – The right lane of northbound SR 167 will close between Southwest 43rd Street and I-405 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. The HOV/HOT Lane will be open to all traffic during this time.

 

• Sunday, April 27 – The right lane of southbound SR 167 will close between Southwest 43rd Street and I-405 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. The HOV/HOT Lane will be open to all traffic during this time.

On Saturday, the Sounders play at 1 p.m. with the Mariners wrapping the evening up with a 6:10 p.m. start time. Drivers can expect an increase in traffic as people head to and from the games.
