Drivers traveling over Interstate 90 east of Snoqualmie Pass need to plan for added travel time due to rolling slowdowns and rock blasting closures.
The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews will be conducting rolling slowdowns during the day Saturday, May 3 and again Monday, May 5 through Saturday, May 10. Crews will also be closing I-90 at 7 p.m. for about an hour Monday, May 5 through Thursday, May 8 for rock blasting. Eastbound drivers will be stopped at Gold Creek (milepost 56) and westbound drivers will be stopped at Price Creek (milepost 61).
Drivers may also experience minor delays due to ramp closures at the Yellowstone Trail Road interchange and the Hyak interchange on I-90.
