SALES HALTED: Police had heard June 8 about solicitors working in the city in violation of city ordinances. After giving several verbal warnings, police took a subject into custody and booked the individual into jail.

HOMELESS: An officer contacted a homeless newcomer to town the evening of June 7. The woman was given contact information regarding local assistance.

JUNE 7: Officers responded just before 10 p.m. to a traffic accident at state Route 165 and Borell Road. Two calls came from Rainier School, one for an alleged assault and another for a resident who wandered from the grounds. On the roads, police made 11 traffic stops.

JUNE 6: Daily reports involved a child missing from a C Street location and a commercial burglary alarm from a Jefferson Avenue site. Additionally, there were calls about a theft and a suspicious vehicle at a highway location.
