Saturday shapes up to be busy both early and late as the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce keeps things hopping with a St. Paddy’s family 5K, green eggs and ham breakfast and – for the 21-and-older crowd – a pub crawl.

Registration has been under way for the morning run/walk, which begins and ends at Enumclaw High School. The registration fee is now $25 for those 12 and younger and $30 for everyone else. With that fee, participants will receive a long-sleeve, Dri-Fit shirt and a postrace breakfast.

Registration can be handled on the chamber’s website, www.EnumclawChamber.com, and also will be taken beginning at 6:30 Saturday morning. The run/walk gets rolling at 8 a.m.

The green eggs and ham breakfast will be served at approximately 9:30 a.m. in the Enumclaw High School cafeteria. All are welcome to attend, even if they did not participate in the run/walk. The cost is $5 for those who do not join the 5K.

The meal – consisting of eggs, ham, hash browns, banana bread and juice – is sponsored by Dr. Holly and Darrel Dickson, with participation by the Enumclaw School District.

The chamber’s second annual pub crawl operates simply. Attendees pay $5 for an official event cup and a wristband, which entitles them to special prices on selected spirits at seven participating businesses. Registration is being handled at the chamber office on Cole Street and will be taken until 7 p.m. Saturday.

Taking part in the pub crawl are Bridget’s Boutique, Mountain Aire Mercantile, Rendezvous Wine and Brew, Room 25, Sip City, The Lee and Yella Beak. Information about each venue – what they’ll be offering and their hours – can be found on the chamber website.
