Sheriff’s Office asks for help finding stolen hay truck

Thieves apparently made off with the vehicle on August 18.

The King County Sheriff’s Office on Monday shared an alert about the theft of a more than two-decade old hay truck, which was stolen on August 18 from a farm on the Enumclaw side of the White River.

Deputies that afternoon responded to the theft investigation in the 26700 block of SE 472nd Street, from where the thieves apparently opened a gate and took possession of the Freightliner truck. The owners had been gone less than three hours, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Sheriff’s Office also shared an image of the misappropriated truck.
