Vehicle Vandalism: Officers spoke with the reporting party by phone regarding malicious mischief to her tires. She told officers she believes a coworker slashed two of her car’s tires. She explained that she had borrowed money from this coworker a couple weeks ago and had not paid her back yet. The reporting party had her car towed to a tire shop in Tacoma and the damage would cost $250. At the time of this report, there was nothing further.

Shoplift: Officers responded to a SR 410 store to the report of a shoplift of alcohol that had just occurred. The manager told officers, a male had shoplifted a large bottle of vodka. As the suspect began to exit the store, he set off the alarm system and the manager asked him if he could look through his belongings to see if he had any unpaid for merchandise. The suspect told him no and continued to leave the store.
