Simple Goodness Sisters hosts Holiday Hootenany

The Wilkeson cocktail bar is transforming itself into a winter wonderland with new menu items, Friday snow fall, and various holiday-related events.

Wilkeson’s Simple Goodness Sisters is ready to dive into the holidays with Christmas ambiance, festive cocktails, and weekend snowfall.

From Nov. 25 through Dec. 17, the bar is hosting its first-annual Holiday Hootenany, and nearly every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday has something new to see or experience at the artisan cocktail bar.

Folks heading to Simple Goodness Sisters during the week can enjoy new food and drink menus, plus Christmas movies in the dining room and snowfall in the back every Friday, starting at 6 p.m.

But kicking off the event proper is a Small Business Saturday pop-up market with vendors, food and drink specials, and live music from noon to 5 p.m., followed by an open mic and carol singalong from 5 to 7 p.m.

A Christmas tree lot opens at the store on the same day; trees will cost $45.

The following day will be a holiday card mini photo session with photographer Rylea Foehl from noon to 4 p.m.; at the same time, the Enumclaw Woman’s Choir will be performing from 2 to 3 p.m.

Wilkeson will be hosting a downtown tree lighting on Dec. 1 at 5 p.m., and Bryson Evans will be playing live music at the Simple Goodness Sisters from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

There is a wreath making class with Cattle and Cut Flowers on Dec. 3 — unfortunately, all tickets have been sold already.

No events are scheduled for Dec. 8, 9, or 10, but on Dec. 16, Cody Bartel will be playing live music from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and another pop-up market opens Dec. 17 from noon to 5 p.m.

The bar is taking another break on Dec. 22, 23, and 24, but returns on Dec. 31 with a family New Year’s Eve party from 6 to 8 p.m., with a count down at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets to the event are $25, and includes noisemakers and kid and adult toasts. Tickets can be bought at simplegoodnesssisters.com/products/copy-of-april-8th-craft-cocktail-class.
