Simplified Summer Food Program for Children is underway in Bonney Lake

Bonney Lake Community Resources, the organization which runs the Bonney Lake Food Bank, announced its sponsorship of the Simplified Summer Food Program for Children.

Bonney Lake Community Resources, the organization which runs the Bonney Lake Food Bank, announced its sponsorship of the Simplified Summer Food Program for Children.

Meals will be made available at no charge to all attending children 18 years old or younger. Meals are available to all children, regardless or race, color, sex, disability or national origin.

Meals will be served at the following sites Monday through Friday through Sept. 3: The program began Tuesday.

• Cedarview Park, 208th Avenue East and 93rd Street East: serving time is 11 to 11:30 a.m.;

• Ponderosa Estates Park, 20309 108th St. E.: 11:30 to 11:45 a.m.;

• Rhododendron Park, 117th Street East and 201st Avenue East: 11:45 a.m. to noon;

• Buckley Youth Activities Center, 251 River Ave., Buckley: Noon to 12:30 p.m.;

• Prairie Ridge Recreation Hall park, 14104 Prairie Ridge Drive: Noon to 12:15 p.m.; and

• Allan Yorke Park, 7203 West Tapps Hwy., 5 to 5:30 p.m.
