The Daffodil Princesses fanned out across East Pierce County Saturday to read with children at their local libraries.

Bonney Lake High School Princess Payton Jensen and Chief Leschi High School Princess Wynonna Swift read with kids at the Bonney Lake Library while Sumner High School Princess Makel Ortiz was joined by Orting High School Princess Krista Nunnally at the Sumner Library.

The Daffodil Queen Coronation is scheduled for 7 p.m. March 11 in Tacoma. The annual Daffodil Parade is scheduled for April 9.
