Special week for two schools

Enumclaw and White River high schools will celebrate Homecoming Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Enumclaw High School kicks off its Homecoming celebration with coronation at 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school commons.

This year’s court includes Noelle Bauer, Carissa Gwerder, Nerissa Huff, Arianna Saltarelli, Julie Sanders, Taylor Capellaro, Riley Carel, Tyler Gachen, Andrew Gamblin and Trulan Rockwood.

The parade heads down Cole Street at 4 p.m. and the football game kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday at Pete’s Pool.

The Homecoming dance is scheduled for 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the school.

White River High will recognize its Homecoming royalty and Top 10 tonight, Wednesday.

A parade will roll down Main Street at 5 p.m. Friday before the 7 p.m. football game kickoff. The King, Queen, Duke and Duchess will be named during halftime.

This year’s royalty include: freshmen, Johnna Coughlin and Austin May; sophomores, Cassidy France and Josh Miller; juniors Arielly Cates and Kohl Kaelin; and seniors, Jessica Bush, Katiejo Clinkingbeard, Jessica Lindner, Carley McCutchen, Hailey Menzel, Marc Anderson, Mat Dickson, Kevin Jones, Micheal Madden and Conner Williams.

The Top 10 escorts are Kristen Brown, Oliva Phillips, Chelsey Stout, Kelsi Tyler, Gabbi Wesner, Austin Bethel, Payden Lamb, Dalton Reynolds, Todd Paine-Walsh and Alec Williams.

The dance is scheduled for 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, in the high school commons. The theme is A Walk Through Central Park.

White River Homecoming dance will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the high school commons.
