Please take note that WSDOT will be shutting down Highway 167 over the Puyallup River in Puyallup next weekend.

All lanes of northbound and southbound SR 167 (Meridian) will close from 8 pm on Friday, August 7, through 5 am on Monday, Aug. 10, at the Puyallup River Bridge.

During those times, crews will also close the southbound SR 167 exit leading to the southbound bridge as well as 4th Street and Levee Road under the bridges.

Although this is neighboring Puyallup, many individuals and businesses use this route to get to and from Sumner.

WSDOT will sign detours, but you may want to make sure you use alternate routes.
