The safety rest area located along State Route 7 in Pierce County closes for two days next week, beginning Tuesday, April 10.

The facility resides approximately 17 miles from the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park, and closes from 7 a.m. April 10, until 8 p.m. April 11.

Closing the safety rest area is necessary to allow crews to safely conduct their work.
