STOLEN AND RECOVERED: Officers were contacted on Aug. 15 because the reporting party’s car had been stolen at a bar. Officers in Auburn found the car on Aug. 17.

SHOPLIFTED VACUUM: On Aug. 16, officers were alerted to an attempted shoplifting. Officers were told by a business employee they saw the subject attempt to leave the store without paying for a vacuum. Store security struggled with the subject before they returned to the store, where the subject was detained. The subject told officers they were going to pawn the vacuum for drug money. The subject had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest out of Federal Way and was transported away.
