All suspects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

FENDER BENDER: At 3:22 p.m. July 25, an officer was called to a rear-end collision on state Route 410 near Mason Avenue. An injured passenger from one of the cars was transported to Enumclaw Hospital. The at-fault driver was cited for following the other car too closely.

BURGLARY: At 7:30 p.m. July 25, an employee of a business on SR 410 reported that persons unknown had entered at least two buildings on the property and stolen some hand tools. No witnesses, no suspects.

DRIVING SUSPENDED: At 2:58 a.m. July 28, an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding and the driver was found to have his license suspended. He was booked into jail and the vehicle was released to a licensed driver.

GOODWILL: At 8:58 p.m. July 28, an officer contacted two suspects in a theft from a Goodwill trailer; they were a 24-year-old woman and a 48-year-old woman, both from Enumclaw. The younger woman was found to have an arrest warrant out of Bonney Lake, and was taken into custody without incident. The officer advised both women not to take or drop off items at the trailer while it was unmanned.

KNIFE: On July 29, an officer was dispatched to Enumclaw to assist in apprehending a man armed with a knife. The suspect had been reported to be threatening people with the knife. He was located in a restaurant and taken into custody. He had a knife on his person that matched the description given by the victim.

AUTO THEFT: At 2:30 p.m. July 31, a South Perkins Street man reported his car had been stolen from behind his house. An officer later learned the car had been involved in a hit-and-run case in Pierce County and been impounded.
