The city of Sumner and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 37 on Monday hosted its annual Memorial Day ceremony at the Sumner Cemetery. The service featured speeches, a full color guard and a 21-gun salute.
Last week, members of the city prepared the cemetery, placing flags at the stones of all veterans.
It was the nonprofit’s first ever gala fundraiser.
The Zoom bombing lasted 13 minutes, and was cut off when an individual attempted to show a lewd image.
