The AARP and Internal Revenue Service tax-aide volunteers will be on hand at the Sumner library on Saturdays, Feb. 7 through April 11, to assist low-income seniors with tax returns. The library is located at 1116 Fryar Ave. and its phone is 253-863-0441.

The free program is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Participants are advised to bring the current year’s tax forms and preparation booklet; a copy of last year’s income tax return(s); W-2 forms; unemployment compensation statements, an SSA-1099 form if paid Social Security benefits; documentation of interest and purchase price of sold assets; a 1099R form for a pension or annuity; child care provider information; information on dependents and deductions.
