The Enumclaw Parks and Recreation Department and Mayor Liz Reynolds would like to send a very big thank you to the members of the Enumclaw Golf Course men’s and ladies clubs for all the support at the Enumclaw Golf Course.

On May 8, 2010, over 40 volunteers from the men’s and ladies clubs arrived at the Enumclaw Golf Course at 6 a.m. ready to work! The group worked together with Parks Department staff limbing trees around the course, weed and brush removal, chipping all the limbs and brush, planting flowers and spreading beauty bark. All in all is what a 12-hour day and the course looks fantastic.

A special thanks to Don Spencer, Tim Barnes, Gary Barnes and Myron Jameson for the use of the equipment needed to complete this project as well as the time they spent on the course.

Once again a great big thank you to the men’s and ladies clubs for the continued year round support of the Enumclaw Golf Course.
