Three vehicle crash at Hinkleman | Buckley Police Blotter

After arriving at the scene of a three-vehicle crash Sept. 7, and officer discovered one of the involved motorists was driving with a suspended license. She was issued a citation and her vehicle was released to a licensed driver. The incident occurred at Hinkleman and SR 410.

BURGLARY: An officer was dispatched to a Chamberlain Street address Sept. 9 in response to a burglary that occurred the previous weekend. Someone had cut a fence to gain access to the property; several automobiles were damaged and multiple electronic devices were stolen.

POLE CRASH: A South Dakota man driving a truck-trailer rig attempted a turn onto River Avenue the afternoon of Sept. 9, snagging a low-hanging utility line in the process. A crew from Puget Sound Energy was able to move the line, allowing the truck to leave the roadway. The scene was turned over to PSE and the driver departed.

VEHICLE PROWLS: An Albert Street resident called police shortly after 2 a.m. Sept. 7 after being awakened by the sound of someone shutting her car door. She checked her vehicle and discovered papers were missing; a boyfriend’s vehicle also had been entered and a GPS device was stolen. That evening, a River Road resident reported someone had broken into his vehicle; nothing was taken but a door was damaged.
