TONIGHT: Election debates at Sumner Presbyterian Church

Come to Sumner Presbyterian Church tonight at 6:30 p.m. for an election debate hosted by the Courier-Herald and moderated by the League of Women Voters.

Come to Sumner Presbyterian Church tonight at 6:30 p.m. for an election debate hosted by the Courier-Herald and moderated by the League of Women Voters.

Candidates for Sumner’s city council, the Sumner School District board of directors, and the East Pierce Fire Commission will participate.

Format consists of questions generated by Courier-Herald editorial staff, questions submitted to the newspaper in advance of the debate, and questions submitted by attending audience members. All candidates for each office will be on stage simultaneously, answering questions in turn.
