Up in the attic: Juveniles with stolen items found above home

REEFER MADNESS: At approximately 11:34 a.m. May 6 in the 1000 block of Willow Street officers responded to a possible burglary in progress. A contractor arriving to work at the residence noticed the back door was open and heard persons in the attic. Two juveniles were found inside the residence with several stolen items. Subjects were arrested and charges include residential burglary, theft, unlawful possession of a dangerous weapon, and possession of marijuana.

PRESCRIPTION FOR TROUBLE: At approximately 6:48 p.m. April 27 officers responded to the 1200 block of Valley Avenue for a report of an attempt to pass a forged prescription. An employee found a suspicious prescription which was not filled out by any doctor in the office. The employee had also been advised of several forged prescriptions from this office in the recent past. The suspect later approached the counter and seemed to be in a hurry, according to the witness. Days later, a subject returned to claim the forged prescription and was subsequently arrested; charges of prescription forgery are being requested through the Pierce County Prosecutors Office.

KNIFE TRY: At approximately 2:25 a.m. April 29 police responded to a report of a subject threatening another subject with a knife after entering his residence. The two subjects had engaged in a fistfight and sustained injuries as a result, though no one was stabbed. Police were able to arrest the subject and charges of attempted assault and residential burglary are being requested through the Pierce County Prosecutors Office.
