Late last night, power was restored to the roughly 9,000 Puget Sound Energy customers who lost power due to equipment failure on a transmission power line in Sumner.

Late last night, power was restored to the roughly 9,000 Puget Sound Energy customers who lost power due to equipment failure on a transmission power line in Sumner.

The power outage began around 6 p.m. and those affected by the outage were customers in Sumner, Lake Tapps, Bonney Lake, Auburn, Edgewood, Orting and Pacific.

Customers were without power for a little over five hours when crews were able to restore it around 11:30 last night.
