Pierce County Planning and Land Services (PALS) is seeking individuals interested in serving on a Land Use Advisory Commission (LUAC).  The LUACs serve as a conduit for public information and participation, and help shape the vision and growth of their communities.

These commissions meet monthly, or as needed, to review development applications, proposed changes to the Pierce County Comprehensive Plan and Community Plans, and changes to the implementing regulations specific to their communities.

Applicants are needed for vacancies on advisory commissions that represent the Frederickson, Gig Harbor, Graham, Midland, South Hill, Spanaway, Summit View and Summit Waller communities. If you live in any of those areas, please consider volunteering. No experience is necessary – just a strong commitment to your community.
