The following information was posted on the Sumner School District website, updated at 11 a.m.:

* Early dismissal: Due to changing weather and road conditions, all schools in the Sumner School District will close early.

Buses will pick students up at:

* 1:00 p.m. dismissal for Middle School and High School students

* 2:00 p.m. dismissal for early start Elementary students (Bonney Lake, Emerald Hills, Maple Lawn, McAlder, Victor Falls)

* 3:00 p.m. dismissal for late start Elementary students (Crestwood, Daffodil, Liberty Ridge)

After school childcare programs through the Rec Department will open at dismissal time.

Some buses on afternoon routes may be delayed due to possible detours and road closures related to the storm. The Transportation Office will remain open and phones will be answered until all buses have completed their routes.

All District Afternoon and Evening Activities Canceled.

All facilities are closed for evening building use.
