Charles R. Moore, 92, died July 13, 2018, at his home in Enumclaw.

He was born May 27, 1926, in Firebaugh, California, to Amanda Christine (Wickstrom) and Charles Robert Moore Sr. He served four tours in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea. On Dec. 11, 1953, he married Marie Lewis in Richmond, California. He retired from Boeing after 32 years as an engineer. He and his wife enjoyed traveling in their RV and his hobbies included gardening, tending to his fruit trees, woodworking and photography. He was also a ham radio operator and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie Moore of Enumclaw; sons Terry Moore (Kahynna) of Federal Way and Rick Moore (Jean) of Mill Creek, Washington; daughters Theresa Nichols (Bob) of Milton and Tracy Holyan (Chuck) of Enumclaw; brother Ed Moore of San Andreas, California; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
