Curtis Smith died July 24, 2019, in Buckley.
He was born Aug. 30, 1955, and was raised in Edgewood, Washington, until the family moved to Buckley in 1967.
He was with the White River High Class of 1974. He then went to work in the woods, employed by several logging outfits in the area as a yarder operator until his retirement in 2006.
He loved logging, fishing, classic cars, working on projects and being with all his friends. He was a member of the F.O.E Buckley Eagles No. 1387.
He is survived by his son Adam Gallion; two granddaughters; and brother Bruce Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents Norm and Shirley Smith and sister Lorraine Smith.
There will be a celebration of his life at 1 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Buckley Eagles to share stories and memories.
