Dana Jean Zaputil, 94, died May 9, 2012, in Kent, Wash.

She was born March 12, 1918, in Billings, Mont., to Anton and Lulu Kombol. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling with her sisters. Other interests included cooking, card games and helping children. She was a member of the Children’s Orthopedic Guild.

She is survived by sisters Nola Fontana of Seattle and Nadine Silvestri and her husband Joe of Kent. She was preceded in death by husband Frank Zaputil and brothers Jack Kombol and Bernell Kombol.

A celebration of her life is planned for a later date.
