Daniel Coco

Daniel George Coco died Feb. 20, 2025, at the age of 87.

Daniel George Coco, known as Dan by friends and family, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, at 87. Born in Revere, Massachusetts, on May 10th, 1937, Daniel moved with his family to Washington in the late 40’s. They spent time in Seattle and Poulsbo before finally settling in Enumclaw, where he resided for nearly 75 years.

He graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1956 and proudly served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962. Married to his beloved wife Charlotte, on February 24, 1967, they celebrated a lifetime of love and companionship.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Daniel began a distinguished 35-year career in finance at Boeing. He was a lifelong sports enthusiast, an avid fan of Husky football, the Seahawks, and the Seattle Sonics. He also enjoyed the annual state high school basketball tournament in March. He played softball and bowled for many years. He and Charlotte were passionate travelers, visiting far-flung destinations, including Japan, Australia, New Zealand, St. Petersburg, Italy, and Greece.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Charlotte Coco; his children, Angelena Bowen (Brian) and Anthony Coco (Junko); his grandchildren, Cole Bowen, Kyle Bowen, Vanessa Coco, Valencio Coco, and Veronica Coco. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Celia Coco; andhisbrother, Frances Coco.
