Enumclaw resident Donald Christianson, 87, died June 30, 2012, in Leavenworth, Wash.

He was born May 5, 1925, in Whitefish, Mont. He was a Navy veteran and spent a lifetime in the ski industry. He was well known and respected as a ski area manager at Stevens Pass, Mount Pilchuck and Crystal Mountain ski areas. He was inducted into the Northwest Skiers Hall of Fame in 2002.

He is survived by children Linda, John, Don and Cleet.
