Enumclaw resident Doris Mae Rogers died May 8, 2012, at the age of 91.

She was born May 10, 1920, in Enumclaw to Chris and Helga (Christensen) Nelsen in Enumclaw. She married William Rogers in 1939 in Enumclaw. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, flower gardening, drawing, camping and fishing.

She is survived by son Grant and wife Sharon of Black Diamond; daughter Sallie Box and husband David of Enumclaw; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill on July 27, 1979.

A graveside service took place Tuesday, May 15, at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw.
