Grant Wood Rehor
January 3, 1948- December 4, 2025
Grant Wood Rehor, born on January 3, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Milton and Sophie Rehor, passed away on December 4, 2025, at his residence in Bonney Lake, Washington where he spent 35 contented years.
He was dedicated, thoughtful, and humorous to all those around him.
Grant was known for his unwavering devotion to his family, who he cherished above all else. His love story with his wife, Gerlinda, was one of respect, and boundless love. Grant had a fulfilling career as a school bus driver, where he served the Enumclaw School District for over 20 years. He predominantly drove the Black Diamond/Crystal Mountain Routes, becoming a familiar and comforting presence for the children and parents alike.
Outside of his professional life, Grant was known as Mr. Fix It, a ‘Jack of all Trades & Master of None’. His heart, hands and resourceful mind could help troubleshoot any problem, and he was always ready to lend a hand, an ear or offer advice.
Before moving to Bonney Lake, Grant had previously resided in Phoenix, Arizona. His journey took him from the Windy City, to the sunny landscapes of the desert to the lush greenery of Washington, his life marked by the diversity of his experiences.
He leaves behind precious memories with his wife, Gerlinda Rehor, daughters Michelle Coleman, Husband Christopher, and Mona Nachtsheim, Husband JR Nachtsheim. His Grandchildren Shane Coleman (Wife Allie), Kendra Nachtsheim, Kanncie Nachtsheim, Rachel Coleman, and Kiera Nachtsheim. His nephew Jerry Capocy, who was like a son and Wife Trish. Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews, as well as their spouses and families.
He was preceded in death by his grandsons Thane Perez and Brandon Nachtsheim, sisters Betty Cinefro, Jean Capocy, Barbara Sampson, and his parents Milton and Sophie Rehor. Grant’s humor, wisdom, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
