Ida Snyder

Bonney Lake resident Ida Birdella Snyder, 96, died April 21, 2011, in Puyallup.

She was born May 21, 1914, in Sterling, N.D. She worked 25 years as a licensed practical nurse and stood by her husband during his ministry of nearly 50 years. Affectionately known as “Grandma Snyder,” she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and oil painting.

She is survived by son Benjamin L. Snyder of Bonney Lake; daughter Marjorie A. Conaway and husband John of Rogers, Ariz.; sister Mona Hart and husband Cecil of Golden Valley, Ariz.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl B. Snyder and sons Kenneth R. Snyder and H. Phillip Snyder.

A funeral service took place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the Bible Missionary Church in Buckley. A graveside service is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at the Union Cemetery in Crawfordsville, Ore.
