Janice A. (Erskine) Barton died Dec. 19, 2010, with family at her side. She was born Dec. 12, 1938, to Claude and Helen Erskine.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Barton of Enumclaw; her two daughters, Joan Newsom and husband Gary and JoLene Wooldridge and husband Tim; a brother, Claude Erskine and wife Judi; and six grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at the First Christian Church of Kent.
