Jerome ‘’Jerry’’ Sanders passed away on September 16, 2023. He was born on September 23rd, 1939, in Wagner South Dakota to Joseph and Rena Sanders. Jerome was the 8th out of 11 children raised on the family farm. At an early age he was taught the value of hard work and passed that onto his children. Football and basketball were the two sports he thoroughly enjoyed playing in school. Jerome met Joyce in Lake Andes, SD and married her soon after on July 5, 1960. They resided in Spokane until 1966 then moving to Maple Valley.

They went on to have 7 children, Mark, Rita, Neal, Carl, Alan, Leon and Lyle. Jerry and Joyce have 29 grandchildren and currently 26 great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his granddaughter Clodagh.

He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Rest in peace Father, Brother, Husband, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend. We love you.
