John Edward Perini (Johnny) passed away Dec. 11, 2019 (after a short illness) at home in Buckley. He lived in Buckley for the past 15 years where he made many friends.
John is survived by his parents Donald Earle and Nola Fay Perini (Roy, WA), Daughters Cheryl Ann Perini (Buckley, WA) and Kaycee Jean Bassett (Lynnwood, WA), sisters Genevieve Perini Bell (Jerry) Eureka, Montana, and Beverly Harris (Stanley) Rainier, WA. Also numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon, Aug. 1, 1968. His family moved to Tacoma in 1979. Attended school in Drain, Oregon and then Tacoma, Washington.
He worked many different jobs until he discovered his work passion as a cook. He worked at the “Firehouse Pub” in Buckley for the past decade and in those years he made many friends. His love for his daughters, friends, and family was so important to him and he loved his vacations each summer with family in Montana.
Also an avid “Seahawks fan” and member of the Buckley Eagles for many years where many more friendships formed. He was always ready to lend a helping hand where needed.
Celebration of Johnny’s life will be held at the Buckley Eagles on Jan. 26, 2020 at 1pm, where we can all share love and memories of this man so many of you know fondly as “Johnny”!
