Maarie Fasoli

Enumclaw resident Marie Fasoli, 94, died April 3, 2011, in Pamona, Calif.

She was born Feb. 22, 1917, in Sao Jorge, Azores, Portugal. She was a seamstress for Paramount Studios until she married Edward A. Fasoli on Nov. 10, 1940, in Los Angeles. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren and raising orchids.

She is survived by sons Robert Fasoli and wife Carol of Enumclaw, Brent Fasoli and wife Margie of Renton and William Fasoli and wife Maureen of Norco, Calif.; daughters Denise Cox of Upland, Calif., and Susan Dale and husband Michael of Enumclaw; sisters-in-law Justina Fasoli of Palos Verdes, Calif., Lydia Fasoli of Borago Springs, Calif., and Rose Souza of Oxnard, Calif.; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 8, 2002.

A graveside service took place at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 710 2nd Ave., No. 900, Seattle, 98104.
