Nadalene Edith “Nada” Pritchett died Feb. 24, 2018, in Enumclaw at the age of 86.

She was born April 20, 1931, in Seattle to Edwin and Helen Kathleen (Raemer) Kauffman. She married Winfred E. Pritchett on Oct. 5, 1949, in Columbus, Georgia. She began beauty school on Seattle’s Queen Anne Hill in 1946 and worked as a licensed beautician until early 1966. She continued to work as a hairdresser from her home until she and her husband retired to Sequim, Washington, in 1990. She had a passion for music and joined the renowned Sweet Adelines singing group in the late 1950s. She was a devoted member of the group well into the 1960s. Hobbies included oil painting and volunteering at a variety of nonprofit organizations.

She is survived by daughter Lehann Nelson (Paul) and sons Tobin Pritchett (Deana), Randyl Pritchett and Neil Pritchett (Jennifer). She was preceded in death by brothers Paul and Donald, sister Ellen, eldest son Ted Pritchett, and her husband.
