Robert Harold Burton died Sept. 4, 2017, in Enumclaw. He was 73.

He was born August 15, 1944, in Seattle to Harold and Evangeline Burton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and enjoyed a career as a heavy equipment operator for local union 302. He loved to hunt, watch movies and be with family.

He is survived by sister Sandra Stasiak (Ron); children Bob Burton Jr. (Ellen), Rick Burton, Travis Burton, Sherrie Rains, Kurt Boswell and Shiela Shockey; and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Eva Mina (Udell) Burton.

A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Overcomer Covenant Church, 33415 Military Rd. S., Auburn, Washington.
