Robert (Bob) Davey died Dec. 26, 2018.

He was born in Seattle and graduated in 1965 from Glacier High School. He joined the U.S. Navy between his junior and senior year, departed for Vietnam right after graduation and served three tours. He was a gunner’s mate on a patrol boat. He worked for the Boeing Co. for 30 years, retiring in 2008 He loved going on cruises and his rec, 1969 GTO. He was a member of the Buckley Eagles for 20 and also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife Joanie; sons Tom Davey (Traci) and Tony Davey; and 10 grandchildren.

A celebration of his life is planned for noon Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Buckley Eagles. A military service took place Jan. 25 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
