Robert Cecil Stewart, 89, died peacefully March 9, 2018, in Sumner.

He was born Feb. 20, 1929, to Cecil A. and Alice (Mulchinski) Stewart. He was born and raised in Enumclaw, graduated in 1946 from Enumclaw High School and in 1950 from Oregon State University. Bob and his wife Betty Lou had two sons, Thomas and Matthew. His career was in human resources in the wood products industry. He is remembered as a loving father and grandfather and a devout Christian.

He is survived by sons Tom Stewart (Rene) of Buckley and Matt Stewart (Signe Beck) of Indio, California and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Benny.

He will be interred at Evergreen Memorial Park in Enumclaw next to family members who passed before him.
