Roy “Bud” Eugene Urpman, 79, died Dec. 20, 2012 in Seattle with his family by his side.

Roy was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on March 6, 1933 to Paul and Ruth Urpman.

He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1951. He served our country from 1953-1955.

In 1959 he married Linda and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

In 1973 he founded Metro Glass and ran it successfully for nearly 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his son Glen.

He is survived by his wife Linda of 54 years; sons Mark and Alan; daughter Amy;

four grandchildren, Alex, Alysse, Jennifer and Kevin.

He was dearly loved, highly respected and will be missed by all.

There will be a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.

Following the graveside service a reception will be held at Metro Glass, 1120 SW 16th, Renton.
