Suzanne Marie “Suzie” Sidhu died July 16, 2019, at Kindred Hospital in Seattle due to complications associated with diabetes.

She was born Nov. 21, 1960, in Enumclaw to Ray and Jean Bock (Potvin). She graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1978. She discovered her talent at her mother’s restaurant in downtown Buckley called The Sweet Shoppe. She earned her title “The Pie Goddess” from her customers and the name followed her. It eventually became the name of her successful business in Enumclaw, which she devoted herself to for the past eight years.

She is survived by son Lucas Sidhu; daughter-in-law Mercedes Sidhu (Pritchard); siblings Dave (Laurie), Tim (Nancy), Fred (Kelly) and Nancy (Lyle); and one granddaughter.

A celebration of her life is planned for 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Buckley Eagles.
