Willard “Bill” Carl Crow

Willard “Bill” Carl Crow (1922–2025) passed peacefully in his sleep just one month shy of his 104th birthday. He was 103 years old. Bill lived a long life defined by hard work, service, resilience, and quiet generosity.

Born January 26, 1922, in Looking Glass, Oregon, Bill was one of twelve siblings, growing up in a large family that shaped his strong work ethic and independence. At 18, he left home to find work, logging in the woods, working at Eugene Auto, and helping build the trail up Skinner’s Butte in Eugene. During World War II, Bill answered the call to move to Seattle, where he worked for Boeing and became part of the industrial backbone that supported the war effort.

Throughout his life, Bill worked for Northwest Greyhound, Boeing, as a teacher and instructor at Renton Voc. Tech., and with Benton Realty. He and his wife Elnora were deeply involved in the Grange, where Bill served in many roles, including Master, Camp Club leader, and tour guide. In retirement, they led Grange tour groups around the world, including Africa and China.

More than 55 years ago, Bill and Elnora made their home in Enumclaw, Washington. Bill never stopped helping others, always offering an open door and steady support. He is survived by his stepchildren, brother Ray Crowe, and many generations of family. His life was meaningful, generous, and well lived.
