Bonney Lake High’s baseball squad couldn’t get untracked last week as it dropped league contests to White River 8-4 and Sumner 11-4, falling to 7-9 in South Puget Sound League 3A play.

This record will not be good enough to get the boys in black and teal into the playoffs, but the Panthers went down swinging as several players had big games at the plate.

In the tandem of outings, senior swinger Brain Davis went 6-for-7 at the dish with a half dozen base knocks.
