Senior Tracy Hare shot a 49 as the Bonney Lake girls competed in a preseason jamboree Sept. 3 at Brookdale Golf Course in Parkland.

The Panthers competed against golfers from South Puget Sound League Class 3A rivals Franklin Pierce, Lakes and White River, and 4A Emerald Ridge.

Freshman Anna Babbitt was second on the team with a 53, senior Courtney Bartlett was third with a 54 and senior Ali Ronnfeldt had a 56 for fourth.

Sophomore Megan Charron shot a 59 while sophomores Ashley Coubra and Yoselyn Leos finished with a 72.

Bonney Lake opens the season at 3:15 p.m. Thursday against Clover Park at Tacoma Golf and Country Club in Lakewood. The Panthers will host Franklin Pierce in SPSL 3A play at 3 p.m. Tuesday at High Cedars Golf Course in Orting.
